Technical Qualification & Supplier Evaluation

Prior to supplier introduction, MMI evaluates:

True available production capacity
CNC equipment capability and utilization efficiency
Preventive maintenance discipline and calibration controls
ISO 9001 or AS9100 compliance maturity
Quality management structure and inspection methodology
Control Plan implementation and defined inspection frequencies
Measurement system discipline and documentation controls
Safety standards and operational consistency
Preliminary financial screening prior to formal OEM qualification
Suppliers are advanced only after meeting defined program criteria aligned with OEM technical expectations.

Production Oversight & Launch Support

MMI remains engaged through onboarding, first article submission, and early production stabilization. Support may include:

  • Alignment of RFQ package and technical documentation prior to release
  • Coordination of First Article Inspection submissions
  • PPAP documentation support where required by program standards
  • Verification of Control Plan execution and CTQ monitoring
  • Review of process control readiness prior to production release
  • Structured communication between OEM and supplier during ramp-up
The objective is to reduce avoidable first article delays, shorten validation cycles, and support stable production launch.
